"Bjork"

I painted this in the summer of 2004, at the time I was listening to Bjork a lot and I saw these really great pictures taken of her in Newsweek magazine- one of them I painted this from.

"Aura of the Sea"

To explain this one, it's the ocean and the colors represent the "aura"....every living thing has an energy, and the sea is very alive, so I tried to paint a colorful aura to represent the life.

"Dark Humor"
Oil on PanelThis one seems to get everyone wondering what I was thinking- I started just trying to paint a person wearing a mask, then it began to remind me of a clown so I just went with it. All of my paintings usually end up completely different than the picture I start with in my head.

This painting is titled "Enemy Fire". It was included at my 1st showing at Lesli Yazzie's "Long House"on the 1st friday of March 2007. I sold it along with 3 others that night (-: Lesli helped me immensely with setting up and everything. All of my friends and family came to support me...It was a great night.
