I am a mostly self taught artist who enjoys the challenge of creating art that stirs an emotion. Regardless if it's a painting that makes you feel pleasure or sadness, my goal is to master the ability to create art that will simply make you feel. I have always thought, that it is better to get a strong negative reaction from a piece of art than no reaction at all. My intent is to have it be viewed as beautiful in whatever form that may be.

I have been creating art since I was a child. I started with painting in acrylics in high school, and eventually transitioned to using oils. I have been on and off with my ambition to create paintings, mostly because of time constraints. A friend of mine- Lesli Englert-Yazzie, offered me a portion of her wall space to show some of my pieces at the Long House Gallery about 5 years ago, and since then I have been creating paintings more regularly. My inspiration comes from my family mostly- I was raised in a family full of artists and musicians who exposed me to a great deal of wonderful forms of artistic expression. This helped guide me to painting. Thank you for visiting this site and I hope to add some new art work soon!
