I was asked by a friend to take a ceramic pig and paint it or do something creative with it for an upcoming art display he is arranging in downtown Phoenix showcasing several local artists ceramic piggy bank creations.... This is mine- it's a collage with clippings from various magazines, the legs are wrapped in black and whited sequins, and the handle is wrapped in ribbon....and of course I had to add a few quirky clippings amongst the floral prints (it's art...isn't it supposed to be weird?), then I sprayed it all over with several coats of shine and here it is- Big Bertha the Pig!Was previously on display in downtown Phoenix at:
